MCI Approved Foreign MBBS Degrees

With the changing trends and lifestyle, students are now giving preference to studying from abroad.  There has been an increase in the number of students who opt to study at a foreign university.  Students in the medical field specifically aim for foreign universities firstly because of the limited number of seats available in government medical colleges in India and secondly because of the high fees that are charged by private colleges.  Foreign universities and colleges, in comparison to the Indian colleges, charge less and offer students with state-of-the art infrastructure.  MCI stands for the Medical Council of India and is the regulatory body that is responsible for ensuring that the students who seek admission to foreign universities are not caught up in any fabrication or malpractices.   It has been observed over the years that some foreign universities and colleges have tried to mislead students with fake promises and fabrication of the truth, thereby MCI has listed certain colleges and universities that are approved by the Indian Embassy or the High Commission of India to protect the interest of students who relocate to foreign countries.  Students are suggested to go through the details of college/university from the official website only and must check the approval from MIC and the Indian Embassy before applying.  This information can be extracted by the students online.  This list should be taken into consideration before making a decision. In Russia- Students prefer to study from Russia for two major reasons, firstly because of high-quality medical education and secondly because of the low tuition fees charged by Russian Universities.  These universities are recognized by both the World Health Organization as well as the MCI.  Some of the famous universities include-
