Are students allowed to leave the campus on their own during college hours?
No, the students can leave the campus only on prior intimation from the parent through their registered mobile number.
Can the parents visit the campus on any day to talk to the concerned faculty?
Yes, Parents can visit the campus in specified time-slots on any day and interact with the faculty. The appointment can be scheduled by calling the front desk.
Can we meet the Director sir in person?
Yes. In addition to access to Principals (or Center Heads) who run the colleges, parents can meet the director upon prior appointment at the campus.
What is the attendance policy?
Students are expected to maintain a minimum of 90% attendance. Students’ attendance directly affects their performance and is of utmost importance. Any kind of leaves taken have to be informed to the mentors / co-mentors.
How do we know if our child misses a day?
The parents of students missing classes / being absent will be called in the morning of that day. In addition, student attendance can be tracked through the app.
Are there any kind of Physical activities / Sports for the students?
Students have access to indoor games / sports everyday. In addition, students have a compulsory 10-minute breathing exercise window in the day to help improve focus.
Is there any inter-collegiate sports event being conducted?
Students get to attend our annual sports meet “Khelo Excellencia” over 10 branches, “Excellencia Marathon” and Yoga sessions conducted at the campus.
What other extra-curricular activities are offered?
Extra-curricular activities for our students include E-MUN (Model United Nations), Freshers and farewell outings/events, Sports fest & marathon.
How is the safety of the students ensured at the campus?
Students are continuously monitored by co-mentors throughout the day. In addition, our campuses are CCTV monitored with open access to TSBIE.
What sort of security is there for girl child?
We have female staff in our campuses to understand the concerns of girl children and ensure their security. All of our staff are specially trained to understand the needs of a girl child and respond accordingly.
How is Hygiene maintained at campus?
The whole campus is cleaned and sanitized at the end of each day. Washrooms are cleaned after every 2 hours and sanitized to ensure protection against infections.
Is there any provision for food at the campus?
Yes, Optional food (Breakfast + lunch + snacks) facilities are available at our day-scholar campuses.
Is opting for college food mandatory?
No, College food is optional, not mandatory.
Are any kind of snacks available at the campus?
Since students spend majority of their day at the campus, students get access to a tuckshop that sells snacks, readymade items & stationery.
Does the college offer transport facilities?
Yes, The college offers transport facilities mostly in the 7-13 seater van systems. The vans have door-step pickup and live tracking facilities including a dedicated transport in-charge to take care of any further issues.
Do students have access to lift at the campus?
Yes, to facilitate the movement of students in need of assistance, students have permitted access to lift at the campus.
Do you have a specific dress code for the child?
Yes, All the students will have to follow the dress code that includes Excellencia T-shirts and Jeans/formal pants. 3/4th pants, shorts and sleeveless dresses are not allowed at the campus.
Are the students allowed to wear Smart watch and carry the mobile to the classroom?
No, Students have to submit all their mobile phones & related smart devices in designated boxes and pick them up while leaving the campus. All campuses are no-device zones.
What action do you take when the child misbehaves in class?
While we strive as an institution to make the classrooms friendly for all, we do understand that every child reacts differently. For any discipline issue / misbehaviour noted, the student shall be immediately counselled and appropriate action shall be taken if we deem the behaviour of the child as inappropriate / disturbing to others.
Is a teenage counsellor/psychologist available at campus?
Yes, 2 full-time psychologists are allocated to day scholar campuses who interact and counsel the children on both group and individual bases on a weekly schedule. Any discrepancies noted will be informed to the parent along with the prior record.
